Learning never stops at Community of Learners! We aim to bring quality education to children that have adapted to different situations: whether face-to-face or online teaching-learning.
We ended the remaining few weeks of SY2019-20 with Online Classes from March 23 to May 8 across all the Sections of the School from Early Childhood through Grade 12.
Here are some of our students’ work during those final year-end Online Classes.
Lessons learned from these Online classes are helping us fine tune and prepare for even more effective work with all our students within CoL@Home.

English and Social Studies – 12s/13s (Gr.7)
After reading Number the Stars and The Diary of Anne Frank, the class saw how other other people (non-Jews) did their share in protecting the Jews who were being unjustly made to suffer for simply being themselves. They understood that the desire is to help is a strong part of human nature.
As a way to show appreciation for people today stepping up and doing their share in helping in whatever way they can, the class was asked to write a poem of appreciation for the frontliners in our fight against COVID-19. Here a few of the works of the children.

Vision Board Activity – SHS (Gr 11)
Students were given the instructions: Draw, paint, cut out pictures that reflect what you want to become in the future to create your vision board. What are your interests? your strengths? your passions? your dreams?
About Luna Constantino’s Vision Board (left)
“The flowers are supposed to symbolise how my goals will someday “bloom” and come to fruition in the future. The drawings inside each folded piece of paper are black and white to show how these goals have not yet been fully realised. Some of my goals include becoming a children’s book author, learning new languages, becoming a well-read person, and staying close with friends and family. “
