Summary

Peter, a wise traveller, meets Ron, a ferocious fighter, at the center of the tree. Peter wants to seek wisdom by looking at the tree, while Ron wants to find a worthy opponent by meeting at the tree. Once they argue, they fight. Peter shows how good he can fight, and Ron shows how deadly he can be. In the end, they settle their differences because Peter found his wisdom while Ron found his worthy opponent.

Plot Idea

  • In the beginning of the story, Peter walks to the tree, which was shown first.
  • Peter talks to the tree about seeking wisdom as he travels.
  • Ron shows up, and meets and asks Peter, to which the answer is obvious.
  • Peter asks Ron the same question, and Ron answers that he is looking for a worthy opponent who will appear at the tree.
  • Unfortunately, they argue because Peter doesn’t want to seek violence, while Ron doesn’t want to hear some boring lecture.
  • To settle,… they fight!!!!
  • Peter is very defensive and passive, while Ron is offensive and aggressive.
  • But, both have a good heart to accept the challenges and show how good they are.
  • As they both finish each other, they stop because they both see and realize each other.
  • Peter says that he has finally sought wisdom, and Ron says that he finally found his worthy opponent.
  • They shook hands and hugged each other, and then, they left.
  • As they left, the tree was lastly shown.
